Overview

Furano is a large-scale copper-gold exploration project located in northern Chile, within one of the worlds most productive porphyry copper regions. The project sits in close proximity to several globally significant mining operations and exhibits geological characteristics associated with major copper discoveries. Historical drilling has already intersected broad zones of mineralisation, while deeper porphyry targets remain largely untested. With extensive land holdings, existing exploration data, and strong regional infrastructure, Furano represents a compelling large-scale copper exploration opportunity.

Results

Tier-one copper district location: Situated in Chile’s prolific copper belt near major operations owned by BHP, Rio Tinto, Freeport, Codelco, and Anglo American. Large-scale porphyry potential: Geological similarities to major deposits such as Escondida and Cerro Colorado support the potential for a significant copper-gold system. Strong historical drilling results: Previous drilling intersected broad copper-gold mineralisation, with multiple holes ending in mineralisation at depth. Extensive exploration footprint: Large alteration zones, widespread mineralisation, and multiple untested targets provide substantial discovery upside.
